I'm just going to say it now: this is the guacamole you'll be asked to bring to every barbecue, cookout, and summer get-together. It's fresh, creamy, perfectly balanced, and somehow disappears within minutes every single time.

Will your friends ask for the recipe? Absolutely. Will you be tempted to tell them you came up with it yourself? I can't stop you!

The combination of creamy avocado, juicy tomatoes, two types of onion, fresh cilantro, garlic, jalapeño, Serrano pepper, plenty of lime juice, and just the right amount of salt creates a guacamole that's bright, flavorful, and impossible to stop eating. Serve it with tortilla chips, pile it onto tacos or burgers, or eat it straight from the bowl with a spoon, you know I won't judge you.

Yields: 4-8 people

Prep time: 15 minutes

Total time: 20 minutes

This recipe is dairy free, gluten free, and vegan.

Ingredients:

4 avocados, mashed

2 medium tomatoes, finely diced

1/4 white onion, finely diced

½ red onion, finely diced

2 TBSPs, finely chopped cilantro

1 jalapeño pepper, finely diced

1 Serrano pepper, finely diced

2 garlic cloves, minced

2 limes

Salt

Instructions:

  1. First, grab a serving bowl and mash in 4 avocados.

  2. Add in ingredients 2-8 into the bowl.

  3. Drizzle in the lime juice and salt to taste.

  4. Mix together - you want the guacamole to be thick and creamy.

  5. Grab your chips of choice and enjoy!
