These keep me going - these are Batata Harra, or "spicy potatoes" in Arabic.
Batata Harra originated in the Levant region of the Middle East and they are such a delicious part of our cuisine. They are so easy to make and packed full of flavor.
They tend to be fried or shallow fried, but since I emphasize the importance of health and wellness, I roast the potatoes instead. Don't worry, the potatoes are still delicious roasted in the oven since they will be covered in a flavorful spicy cilantro sauce.
You can eat the potatoes with a fork or pita bread. They are enjoyed as an appetizer, but you can have them on the side as well for a great source of carbs and fiber.
You're going to need potatoes, olive oil, salt, red pepper flakes, paprika, fresh cilantro, garlic, and lemon. Let's get to the recipe!
